►   The Ron Schaefer does it again! ! Donating another work of art; this Mountain Lion was specially designed for "The Bosque Conservatory Big Event". Each year Ron donates an exceptional bronze for The Big Event Auction that are always bided on with high demand. This bronze has a little history behind it.

Ron and his compadres were glassing cues deer in the high desert mountains north of Phoenix Arizona. Ron glassed in on two mountain lions; one which pierced over cliffs and ravines to stalk on cues deer below as well. The mountain lion stopped long enough for Ron to get this graceful pose. After the mountain lion disappeared, Ron and compadres hiked closer to see if they could find any tracks of the mountain lion. The lion tracks were as big as his palm. One of the COM padres’s indicated the cat probably weighed between 120-140 lbs. A very big and healthy cat for that area feeding on cues deer as their main food source.

This Mountain Lion — Titled "Arizona Ledge" is #1 of 19 editions. Ron continues to do exceptional sculpting.

Measurements are — Width: 8-1/2"— Height: 15"— Depth: 2-1/2".
